Wire 1 as shown above is exactly 14.5m long and must be exactly 1m above the ground. It is worth mentioning that I rarely hear other U.K. or close E.U. stations on this antenna, this is most probably due to the large null in the centre which attenuates signals arriving from a high class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the view of the 30m Delta Loop at my current QTH in the U.K. I made my own 1:1 balun and housed it in 40mm water pipe with screw caps, works a treat and never has
