Wire 1 (Horizontal wire) is 75m long and exactly 1m above the ground for its entire length. I used plastic electric fence poles to hold it in position over such a long distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two diagonal wires are 46.2088m long with the peak being 28m above ground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SWR plot for this antenna covers most of the DX section of the band, exactly where I wanted it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/m0aws.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/M0AWS-160m-Delta-Loop-SWR-Plot-1024x682.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-156\" srcset=\"https:\/\/m0aws.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/M0AWS-160m-Delta-Loop-SWR-Plot-1024x682.png 1024w, https:\/\/m0aws.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/M0AWS-160m-Delta-Loop-SWR-Plot-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/m0aws.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/M0AWS-160m-Delta-Loop-SWR-Plot-768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/m0aws.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/M0AWS-160m-Delta-Loop-SWR-Plot-1536x1024.png 1536w, https:\/\/m0aws.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/M0AWS-160m-Delta-Loop-SWR-Plot.png 1652w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><figcaption>160m Delta Loop SWR plot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With an SWR of less than 2:1 across the DX portion of the band this antenna is easily brought into tune with a typical internal ATU found in most base station radios these days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have an SGC Autotuner or similar, you can use it in place of the 1:1 Balun to broadband this antenna. This antenna gives 2.84dbi @ 24 deg, a very useable angle.
